
Cédric (Loire atlantique), wanted to create a Zen garden entrance. He installed railroad sleepers to mark the driveway and act as a Japanese step.
Putting up a palisade fence helps to isolate it from the neighborhood, while adding climbing plants makes it less rigorous and adds plant “verticals”.
To create a Zen spirit, we chose plants with simple shapes. With a larger budget, a cloud tree would enhance the Zen atmosphere.
Stone mulch (pebble and slate) reduces maintenance and enhances the Zen aesthetic.
