David (38) wanted to conceal his neighbors’ new house from view by creating a free space at an altitude of 300 m in a semi-mountainous climate.

He began by installing deciduous trees (birch) to let in light in winter and which were also cold-resistant. The good idea was to trim them (or rather gum them here) in half so as not to cast too much shadow over the pool, but to hide the opposite side.

Then he planted a mixed hedge in the continuity of what he had already put in place. We like bisetti bamboo, which can withstand temperatures of up to 20°C, making it ideal for use at altitude.
