Delphine (Pays de Loire), was looking for ideas for landscaping a long garden. She ran a simulation on our site, which enabled her to project herself in this space.

As is the case here, to avoid the cube effect, partially color a wall. In terms of plants, the installation of non-linear lateral beds is essential in this type of situation, to create a wave effect. Add tall plants at the bottom to break up the depth, and on one side, partially cover a wall with an evergreen climber, for example. if your garden is really long, don’t hesitate to create small, more intimate corners (for reading, relaxation, children’s games…).

Finally, the non-rectilinear Japanese step is interesting, but must follow the lines of the clumps and lead to an identified point (decoration) or get lost behind a clump (as here), thus inviting discovery.

To add a little “pizzazz”, it would have been a good idea to echo the blue of the cabin wall, by placing flowering plants in the far right corner, or a pot in this color (if you have any paint left on the wall, feel free to paint a simple pot).
